Travel easily with Intercity or Regional trains from Ringsted Station, or catch a Regional train from Borup Station, or take Regional/S trains from Ølby Station. Free parking is available at all three stations.

If you want to take the bus from Skovly Camping to Ringsted Station or Roskilde Station, you can get on by the main road, next to the entrance to the campsite. It is a “vinke” route, so the bus must stop when you indicate with a clear signal that you would like to get on. If you are going towards Roskilde Station, it is best to stand by the stone next to the neighboring farm and if you are going to Ringsted Station, it is best to stand in front of the Skovly Camping sign.

Two children under 12 years old can travel free on public transport when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket or card. A child aged 12-15 pays the child price and can bring a child under 12 years old on their ticket for free.

On DSB trains, dogs and small animals that are in a transport bag, transport box or cage throughout the journey can be transported free of charge. The maximum dimensions of the bag or box are the same as luggage (100*60*30 cm). If you are bringing a dog that is not transported in a bag or cage, it must be on a leash and you must purchase a child ticket. If you travel with a guide- or service dog, it is free.

If you bring a bicycle on a DSB train, remember to buy a bicycle ticket. You can buy the ticket in the DSB app. Click on the link below to see how to do it. In DSB’s app you can pay with VISA, VISA Debit/VISA Electron, MasterCard and Maestro.

It is possible to purchase a city pass, which gives free travel for 24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours in the Copenhagen area and/or Zealand. If you are traveling from Ringsted Station to Copenhagen Central Station, you should choose a City Pass X-Large. If, on the other hand, you board the train at Borup Station or Ølby Station, you must choose a City Pass Large. Click on the link below for further info.
